The Planned tab
The Planned tab allows you to have a complete view of your scheduled releases. This screen displays all your releases and the documents included in each one.
Definition of a release
When your are in the planned tab you can select a release.
A release allows your team to gather a collection of changes for a future version of your whole repository. The release can then publish all the changes to all the collected documents all at the same time.
For instance, we advise that you create a content release for every upcoming event you might have that will affect your content. This might be an "Announcement of new shop", "release of the iPhone 82", etc.
Release capabilities
Releases are a way to handle multiples changes all at the same time, for example:
- Publish a new document
- Make changes to existing documents
- Unpublish an existing document
Once you've collected all the changes you wish to make, you will be able to:
- Publish the release immediately
- Schedule the publication
- Preview the release
- Delete the release
